Here, there and everywhere!

The Declaration of Independence is the foundation, the statement of basic principles of God-given rights and the Constitution is the legal structure built on this foundation and the method by which these unalienable rights are secured.  America was founded and based on Judeo-Christian principles of morality.  But ever since the early 60’s, there has been a massive, secular effort by the “anything goes” crowd infected with moral relativism to remove these principles of morality from the American public.

This election brings us to a crossroads that ultimately determines the fate of our culture as well as the fate of our nation of people.  This election is not about politics, economics, or health care but rather about the survival of Judeo-Christian morality. Morals determine choices and choices have consequences.

The pro-abortion, pro-homosexual sex is equal to marriage crowd knows that government takeover is done only when these Judeo-Christian moral principles are out of the conscience of the American public.  That’s why they are telling us that the candidate’s position on the killing children in the womb by abortion and homosexual “marriage” isn’t important to consider when voting.

But they couldn’t be more wrong.  That is when you consider what God the Father told the Israelites of the Old Testament. He didn’t say I have set before you Economic and Health plans, but rather He said, “I have set before you life and death, blessings and cursings. Therefore choose life…”

I have 6 brothers and 2 sisters and around 25 nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews old enough to vote. We discuss the upcoming elections via email.

That’s when I told them they must take seriously what’s REALLY at stake and the voting booth is the place to start. I brought up the Preamble of the DOI and explained that America’s future is ultimately all about the candidate’s moral position on our God-given unalienable rights of life, liberty and the blessings of life and liberty in the pursuit of happiness.

It’s easy for me to decide who will get my vote. It is the candidate who believes the Judeo-Christian principles of morality and will hold them up while in office.  In short…I vote FOR LIFE as the right to be born is first and foremost and trumps the circumstances of our life; i.e. job, economic plan, health care, etc.

In California, the latest polls have Democrat candidate Jerry Brown leading GOP candidate Meg Whitman just as Democrat Senator Barbara Boxer is leading GOP challenger Carly Fiorina.

In California was the 2008 Prop 8 voter supported Marriage AMendment. It's my understanding that Black and Hispanic Democrat voters strongly supported Prop 8.   Both Brown and Boxer are big supporters of same-sex "marriage".  I think there would be a big turn around in the polls if Whitman and Fiorina send ads and massive mailings to the Hispanic and Black voters criticisng Brown and Boxer on this issue.

Oh horror.....I just noticed one of the advertisements on the side of my article is an endorsement for Democrat Alex Sink...who's running for the governor of FLorida.

From WIkipedia, I found her position on:

Reproductive freedom

Sink supports the Supreme Court's 1973 ruling in Roe v. Wade (410 U.S. 113) which legalized abortion in the United States. Sink has been endorsed by Emily's List as pro-choice. In 2003, Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida honored Sink with its "Choice Award" for her outspoken support for women's rights and reproductive freedom. "She is the only pro-choice member of Florida's cabinet, and, as governor, will protect a woman's right to choose."[19]

Adoption

Alex Sink believes in the placement of children in a home where it is in the best interests of children regardless of gender preference. She addressed a group of 300 gay and lesbian advocates at the Museum of Art in Fort Lauderdale. She said, "We need a system in which all of our children are assured that they live in a healthy, loving home -- a home that's determined not by any law." "The decision has to be made by the judge, in consultation with the experts, to determine what is the best for that individual child."[20]

She won't get my vote.

From Wiki:

Sink supports the Supreme Court's 1973 ruling in Roe v. Wade (410 U.S. 113) which legalized abortion in the United States.

Is the Supreme Court the source of our rights? NO. NO. NO...and therein lies the problem.  There is no "reproductive freedom" to practice the evil of abortion.

The Founders declared that Creator God to be the origin of our inalienable rights and they deliberately awarded a subordinate role to government. All of our Government officials are supposed to be a terror to evil.

As Today is Election Day, I want to share this email I got from AFA......

As you prepare to vote your values, I wanted to pass along a timely quote from our 20th President, James Garfield, as he delivered his centennial speech to Congress in 1876. It is at once an observation, a demand and a prediction:

"Now, more than ever before, the people are responsible for the character of their Congress. If that body be ignorant, reckless, and corrupt, it is because the people tolerate ignorance, recklessness, and corruption. If it be intelligent, brave, and pure, it is because the people demand these high qualities to represent them in the national legislature. If the next centennial does not find us a great nation it will be because those who represent the enterprise, the culture, and the morality of the nation do not aid in controlling the political forces."

President Garfield's quote reminds us that you and I are the only ones with the power to change the direction of this country. It is up to you and me. We are responsible. We are to blame. Will we "tolerate ignorance, recklessness and corruption"? Or will we "demand" intelligence, bravery and purity?

1,000 Rabbis Joins Vatican Cardinal in Prohibiting Voting for Anti-Life Candidates

NEW YORK, November 1, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Rabbi Yehuda Levin, spokesman for the Rabbinical Alliance of America, which represents more than 1000 Rabbis, has on behalf of his organization welcomed and endorsed the recent election-themed statements by American Cardinal-designate, Raymond L. Burke, Prefect of the Catholic Church's highest court.

In a 25-minute video interview with Catholic Action for Faith and Family, which was broadcast last week on EWTN and other networks, Archbishop Burke stated: “You can never vote for someone who favors absolutely the right to choice of a woman to destroy a human life in her womb or the right to a procured abortion.”

He added: “You may in some circumstances where you don’t have any candidate who is proposing to eliminate all abortion, choose the candidate who will most limit this grave evil in our country, but you could never justify voting for a candidate who not only does not want to limit abortion but believes that it should be available to everyone.”

"In these crucial times in which we live, where many clerics tread with fear, Cardinal-designate Burke is to be commended and emulated as a voice of leadership,” said Rabbi Levin. “This moral teaching of the Catholic Church set forth in Burke's interview with Thomas McKenna, is clearly found in the Torah and serves to give solid guidance to voters whether they are Christian, Jew or any man of faith.”

"We must implement this teaching now, in the closing hours of the 2010 election cycle,” stressed the spokesman for the Rabbinical Alliance of America. “We hope in the ensuing two years to have many other denominations sign on to this prohibition. This historic alliance announced today is far more important than working together for tuition tax credits for our parochial schools. Today is nothing less than the declaration of a 'spiritual civil war.'”

Rabbi Levin concluded: "Let no person think that this directive is merely an intellectual exercise. This is a call to action to uphold the natural and moral law with pro-active voting according to our religious values. There can be no middle ground when it comes to the Sacred Laws: Marriage is between one man and one woman, and respect for all human life is obligatory. Now go out, spread the word and vote accordingly."

I'M EXHILARATED OVER THE OUTCOME OF THE ELECTION.

Pro-life leaders all agree we defended human life and rejected Obama's administration's pro-abortion agenda...particularly abortion funding health care. Remember the phony executive order?

Some of the numbers are in. According to Chris Smith, co chair of the Congressional pro-life caucus, the voters replaced 38 pro-abortion members with pro-life members and replaced 14 unreliable members with reliable pro-life Representatives,.....Of the 93 Members of the Freshman Class at least 77 are committed to defending the unborn."

That may have been a by-product of the election, but I doubt it was the main cause for the large turn out by the right and center. The economy was driving the ship. Funny how things like that work.

I agree - the economy and Obamacare.

That may have been a by-product of the election,

I think the "vote for life" provided the victorious votes. They came out in force and provided the votes needed to retake the House and fire enough of the Dems to wipe away their super majority in the Senate.

Now, I'm not so stubborn that I won't admit that there was a huge voter frustration over the bad economy and Obamacare, but that too worked in favor of pro-life candidates.

Funny how things like that work.

Yea, so funny...I'm grinning from ear to ear!

With this congress, the FOCA which would have codified abortion as a fundamental right will get nowhere! Same thing with a national "gay rights" bill that would have established a new federally protected class based on "sexual orientation". Both are dead at least for a while.

I think we are going to see the Republicans go to work and fix our economic problems, but at the same time I'm hoping we'll see that they also fix our moral and social side of it as well.

I think we are going to see the Republicans go to work and fix our economic problems

They, like their predecessors need to be held accountable as well. I'm not carrying water for the Republicans either. They need to preform, and I want to see conservative principles applied to reducing the debt, creating jobs, and putting Americans first for a change. That's my needs, I can wait on my wants, first things first.

Glad your happy though Lula. California left me wanting though, and it's California that drives many issues that concern all Americans. I don't want to bail them out while they spend, spend, spend.

California left me wanting though, and it's California that drives many issues that concern all Americans. I don't want to bail them out while they spend, spend, spend.

Something tells me there is no mood whatsoever for more bailouts....especially of the states! So Brown is going to have to look at something else to get California running again.
